Do you have a diver who is struggling to learn a reverse , inward, or back dive? Is he/she having trouble getting a front flip or front 1
1/2 ?

The professional diving coaches at Montgomery Dive Club have proven techniques to teach these dives quickly and safely. Many times we are able to teach the skill you want in one 2-hour session.

Every Wednesday this summer, MDC will offer two 2-hour training sessions designed to help divers learn or perfect their summer diving skills.

Classes sizes will be VERY limited, with only six divers per coach per session. We will offer 2 sessions every Wednesday, and each will be taught by MDC Program Director Doug Beavers. Please do not wait to register for these sessions, as we expect them to fill very quickly, and we will not overfill for any reason.

Each training session will begin in the MDC Dryland Training Center, less than 50 yards from the Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center in Rockville. We will begin the session with trampoline and dry diving-board drills specific to your diver's expressed needs. Coach Beavers will use overhead spotting harnesses and video analysis tools in the dryland center to further prepare divers for their new skills. Once all participants have completed their dryland skills, we walk over to the world-class diving facility at Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center. If needed, dives will use the spotting harness over the 1-meter springboard there to complete new skills with added comfort, before doing the dives on their own.
