Montgomery Dive Club Now Offering Home School Classes
The Montgomery Dive Club (MDC) is a registered USA and AAU Diving Club with a twenty year history of excellence in the Olympic sport of competitive diving. MDC is the home of national champions, international competitors and Olympic Trials qualifiers. But the program serves more than just elite athletes. The coaching staff at MDC emphasizes the benefits of the sport of diving for children of all skill levels and abilities.

Why Parents Love Diving
With so many sports and activities to choose from, why would you choose diving for your child? Diving offers a unique combination of team sport and individual activity. Participants hone social skills as they interact with staff and teammates. They compete individually, but also as members of MDC. Diving teaches essential life-skills such as focus, dedication and the ability to overcome fear. Our staff strives to instill  and reinforce these lessons every day at practice.

For many of our participants, diving becomes an essential source of encouragement and self-confidence. We frequently see our participants bloom socially and academically as a direct result of the burst of self-esteem that comes from mastering simple and complex diving skills in a positive learning environment.

Why Kids Love Diving
Diving is a combination of gymnastics, dance, and swimming. At MDC we teach the sport through instruction in tumbling, trampoline, video instruction, and in-water training. Our curriculum has been refined over twenty years of full-time diving instruction at the highest levels of the sport. This means that we are able to offer a perfect balance of challenge and success - kids leave the pool with a real sense of accomplishment because they are identifying and acheiving objectives. And because we emphasize a hard-working but fun atmosphere, kids go home with a smile.

Who is this Class For?
The Homeschool Human Springs Team class is for kids who are interested in learning new things and who are comfortable jumping into deep water. Experience in diving, tumbling, trampoline, gymnastics and/or dance is a great benefit, but not a requirement. Each 3-month session we will offer optional competitions to allow the kids to show off their new and improved skills.
